Richard Buckley of Leicester Univeristy has been on TV and in the press with regard to the ongoing Richard III dig in Leicester. On Tuesday October 9th at Narborough Parish Centre (on Desford Road) at 7:30PM, Richard will be giving a presentation on the Highcross Excavations to the Narborough and Littlethorpe Heritage Society – and I am hopeful we may get some updates on the Richard III dig. This talk is one of our highlights of 2012 and if you have only a small interest in our local history please come along to this event.
There is a free car park next door to the parish centre. All are welcome to this interesting event and refreshments will be served after. Members £1.50, non-members £3.
